Cummins Allison is committed to keeping your equipment up and running so your organization performs at its best. That’s just one reason why our technicians are noted for their expertise, quick response and friendly customer service. 

We regularly conduct rigorous training at our facilities to ensure that our technicians have the comprehensive product and application knowledge needed to keep your equipment operating at peak efficiency. Our more than 40 branch offices in North America have immediate access to local parts inventories so that we can provide service coverage that is unmatched in the industry.

Service support includes:

  • Over 480 highly-trained local service technicians

  • Advanced technical support for our branch operations provided by the National Field Service group

  • Advanced technical support for our subsidiaries and distributors around the world provided by the Worldwide Service Organization

You can conveniently access our service operations anywhere in the U.S. with a single phone call. Cummins Allison branch locations and service vehicles are equipped with the parts necessary to complete most repairs. Exceptions can typically be completed on the following business day.

While extensive repairs may occasionally require that the technician take the machine to the nearest CA branch location, we do make every effort to minimize your downtime whenever repairs are needed.

We strive to respond to service calls within 8 business hours, on average, and our actual response time averages meet and surpass this goal. Service requests made outside normal business hours are dispatched on the next business day. Service level agreements are available for many of our products. In the U.S., customer service is provided by representatives in our corporate headquarters from 8 am to 5 pm (CST), Monday through Friday. Standard hours of operation at our network of branch offices are 8 am to 5 pm (local time). Note: Some Cummins Allison branch offices offer extended hours of coverage for service. Manufacturer trained technicians

Every Cummins Allison service representative attends regular training and continuing education classes at our headquarters. We deliver over 4,500 hours of training annually to ensure that our technicians stay up to date.

Classes focus on new technologies, improvements in machine design, maintenance, troubleshooting, and how to help keep our customers updated on the latest currency regulations. When you service your equipment with us, you can rely on authorized Cummins Allison parts and a well trained, authorized service representative.

Designed and assembled in the USA

Cummins Allison products are designed and assembled in Mt. Prospect, IL. We are the only US-owned manufacturer of currency counters and coin processing solutions.

Because we manage the entire process – from concept and design to manufacture and assembly all the way through service and repair – we constantly integrate customer feedback into our development and manufacturing to ensure that our product continually evolves to meet your needs.

Keep your equipment running strong

Cummins Allison products are designed to provide maximum productivity with minimal care requirements. However, all machines need regular upkeep and maintenance. Parts that move need periodic cleaning, lubrication and adjustment for optimal performance and long life. The Cummins Allison Preventative Maintenance Inspection Agreement (PMIA) reduces operating costs by extending the productive life and increasing the reliability of these products.

How PMIA works

Your covered equipment is inspected and serviced on your premises on a scheduled basis. This includes partial disassembly; vacuuming, wiping and cleaning; plus lubrication and adjustments to factory specifications. Parts are replaced when needed to prevent possible breakdowns. Your machines are thoroughly tested to assure optimum working order.

  • Maintenance costs are easy to budget. The PMIA cost can be scheduled into your operating budget with no big surprise expenses.

  • Emergency service for problems that may occur between scheduled maintenance visits is free (during normal business hours).

What's included

PMIAs include all parts, labor, emergency service, preventative maintenance inspections, upgrades to existing software and all upgrades for new or redesigned currencies released by the US government during the term of the maintenance agreement.
